• Who can go on the Great Escape Oz? - You could be a car buff who loves nothing more than driving around the Australian Outback, or perhaps you’re keen to get away with family and friends and try something a little different. You may know someone suffering from Cystic Fibrosis and want to give back, or you may just like the antics that go hand-in-hand with a fun car rally. All are welcome!

• Car Requirements – As long as your chosen vehicle is legally road registered, road-worthy and have all of the necessary compulsory equipment – it’s eligible. Any age or type of motor vehicle can participate in The Great Escape Oz, but the older, bolder and weirder your car, the more fun you’ll have and the more awareness you’ll raise of CF!

• Is it a race? – NO. This is not a speed or timed event. However, while the course will not use heart-breaking roads, The Great Escape Oz will still be a challenge, so your vehicle will need to be able to cope with our Australian bush roads and the odd station track.

• Where do we stay? – As many of the small towns we stay in overnight don’t have an abundance of accommodation, our accommodation will more than likely be a pub or a camping/caravan park, so you should always pack a swag as its always a good back up.

We like to stay at pub towns so that everybody is together for dinner and the fun and games we have after dinner. Track Boss will put out an accommodation list including names and contact details so you can see what is available and allow you to get in early and book your preference.
